Choosing the right sized rug often means sizing up.

The right sized rug will define the seating area, make your room look larger and anchor the furniture in your space.

Here are some tips for selecting the perfect size rug:

Living Room -  9 x 12 or 10x14 Choose the size based on your room size, leaving a perimeter of 18" to 24" of hardwood or ceramic showing.

Living Room - 8 x 10 or 9 x 12 Choose a rug on which all of the front legs of the furniture will rest on the rug.

Dining Room -  10' Round Choose a rug size based on the size of your table and chairs. You'll want a rug large enough that you can pull the chairs away from the dining table and have the chairs STAY ON THE RUG - add 24" to the table dimensions for the rug size.

Dining Room -  8 x 10 or 9 x 12 Choose a rug size based on the size of your table and chairs. You'll want a rug large enough that you can pull the chairs away from the dining table and have the chairs STAY ON THE RUG - add 24" to the table dimensions for the rug size.

Bedroom - 8 x 10 or 9 x 12 (Queen Bed) Choose a rug that will act as a focal point in the room and provide a soft landing spot for your feet to land.

Bedroom - 9 x 12 or 10 x 14 (King Bed) Choose a rug that will act as a focal point in the room and provide a soft landing spot for your feet to land.

Child's Room - 5 x 7 or 6 x 9 (Twin Bed) A smaller rug will be a focal point in the room, and give a soft area for your child to play on.

Child's Room - 8 x 10 or 9 x 12 or 10 x 14 Choose a larger rug if you wish all of the furniture to rest on the rug.

Nursery 5 x 7 or 6 x 9 Consider that your baby will be crawling and playing on the rug, and provide a soft surface for those tiny toes and feet and falls! A larger rug will provide more space for play.

Our rugs ship directly from India to your home. For that reason, we are unable to accept returns. When you order this rug, you may request a sample to approve. Please write "sample" on the order, in the notes column. Should you wish to cancel the order after receiving the sample, we will refund the order, less the cost of shipping (USD $50), if the sample is returned within 15 days of receipt. Otherwise samples are $100 each, plus shipping ($50).

COTTON RUGS

Our Organic Cotton Rugs are perfect areas in your home that have low foot traffic, like bedrooms and dens.  While cotton is a strong fiber, our cotton is not treated with stain protectors and may not react well to spills.

• If you use water, it must be distilled water
• Clip, do not pull, any loose fibers
• Rotate every 3 months for even wear
